I agree, the island is as beautiful as an emerald right now. I drove over to Lahaina, and that’s where you can really see the difference…not all the dried brown grasses.

I work at the Wailea Marriott – been there for about 3 years. Prior to that I was at the Ritz & Residences (old Kapalua Bay Hotel, now the Montage). Where did you work at?

I love staying at the Wailea Marriott…we go about once a year. I used to attend the (now defunct) Maui Writer’s Conference every year….everybody involved loved that property. I worked at Maui Kaanapali Villas (see the Page at the top of the blog titled “Unexpected Paradise” for the story.
